World's Most Expensive Weddings
An interesting forward from my dear friend Fahad.
Weddings aren't cheap. The average American wedding costs about $30,000. What if you could afford to spend that much (or more) on your wedding dress alone? Or spend $1.5 million just on wine for your reception? For some, money is no object. They can, and will, spend upwards of millions of dollars to show their love for their betrothed to the entire world. Below are some of the most expensive weddings ever recorded. Some of these became more costly, as they didn't survive very far past the nuptials, ending in divorce just a short time later. In those cases, the wedding ended up costing at least one party much more than the stated price tag.
Donald Trump and Melania Knauss
January 22, 2005
Cost: $1 million
Although it costs just a measly million dollars, the Palm Beach wedding of Donald Trump and Melania Knauss in 2005 was quite an opulent affair. The Grand Mariner cake weighed 200 lbs (!); and the bride's Dior dress cost $200,000 with a 13-foot train, 1500 rhinestones and pearls, and weighing 60 lbs. Performances by Tony Bennett and Billy Joel entertained the guests, consisting of Bill and Hillary Clinton, Shaquille O'Neal and Rudy Giulaini. So far, this one has lasted, not costing the Donald more in the long run like many of his prior marriages.
Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes
November 18, 2006
Cost: $2 million
Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes' 2006 wedding at Italy?s 15th-century Odescalchi Castle was another spectacle of extravagance, to the tune of $2 million. The bridal party attire was designed by Giorgio Armani. Andrea Boccelli performed at the ceremony. And getting married at a castle, for God's sake ? makes your own fire hall reception seem a bit drab, doesn't it? The TomKat wedding ranks on Forbes' list of the most expensive, lavish weddings of any celebrity (or of anyone, for that matter).

Stunning High-Speed Liquid Photography!
Stunning High-Speed Liquid Photography!
Liquid Art & droplet photography
It takes great skill (and good high speed photography equipment) to create such frozen-in-time compositions, revealing the inherent energy, the dynamics of flowing water and the beauty of it all! Some artists substitute water with more viscous liquids, producing even more lava-lamp-like effects. But often just playing with coloring and light is enough to make an effective picture. In this article, we will try to cover a large variety of stunning high-speed liquid photography.

10 Most Poisonous Animals in the World
1. Box Jellyfish
The top prize for “The World Most Venomous Animal,” would go to the Box Jellyfish. It has caused at least 5,567 recorded deaths since 1954. Their venom is among the most deadly in the world. It’s toxins attack the heart, nervous system, and skin cells. And the worst part of it is that jelly box venom is so overpoweringly painful, that human victims go in shock, drown or die of heart failure before even reaching shore. Survivors experience pain weeks after the contact with box jellies.

Snake Wine!
Snake wine (rượu rắn in Vietnamese) is an alcoholic beverage that includes a whole venomous snake in the bottle. It originated in Vietnam and can be found around Southeast Asia . The snakes, preferably venomous ones, are usually not preserved for their meat. They are preserved to have the snake poison dissolved in the liquor. However, because snake venom is protein-based, they are unfolded and therefore inactivated due to the influence of the denaturing effects of ethanol.
A large venomous snake can be placed into a glass jar of rice wine, often with many smaller snakes, turtles, insects, or birds, and left to steep for many months. The wine is drunk as a restorative in small shots or cups
Body fluids of snake are mixed into wine and consumed immediately in the form of a shot. Snake blood wine is prepared by slicing a snake along its belly and draining its blood into a mixing vat with rice wine or grain alcohol. Snake bile wine is done through a similar method by using the contents of the gall bladder. Snake meat, liver, and skin can be prepared to accompany the drinks
